The Trenton Habs are a Junior "A" ice hockey team from Trenton, New Jersey and plays home games at the 8,100-seat Sun National Bank Center.[1] They are a member of the International Junior Hockey League and play in the Mid Atlantic Division of the IJHL's Super Elite League.[2][3] The organization also fields an U18 team and select youth teams.

History

The team was founded in 2009 and joined the IJHL for the 2008-2009 season as an associate member, playing a season of exhibition games against IJHL teams as well as participating in league showcase and national championship tournament. In February 2010 the team announced it will join the IJHL as a full member for the 2010-11 season in the IJHL's Jr. Super Elite League.[4] The Habs finished the 2009-10 season winning the IJHL Super Elite National Championship.[5]
